Call for Journal-First Paper Presentations

ER 2025 invites journal-first paper presentations. Authors who have recently published papers in journals (from 2024 onwards) on topics relevant to ER are invited to submit their papers for consideration.

This presentation modality is intended to give authors of high-quality journal publications the opportunity to showcase their work, increase their potential impact and engage in discussions with the community in a scheduled session during the conference.

Authors should submit their 1-page proposals through EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=er2025, Track ER 2025 Journal First, including:

  1. paper title, abstract, and full reference with DOI,
  2. a description of the relevance of the paper for ER community.

Papers will be selected by the ER Program Committee for presentation in a conference session. Selection will focus on the paper’s alignment with the conference topics, relevance to the community and available space in the ER program. Since published papers have already undergone rigorous review processes, detailed technical reviews will not be performed.

By submitting a proposal, the authors declare that:

  1. the work is not an extended version of a paper that was already presented in a conference,
  2. the work was not presented in journal-first tracks in other venues,
  3. the work is not presently under consideration for presentation in another event.

At least one author of the paper commits to registering and presenting their paper at the conference. Papers will not be part of the ER proceedings; they will be listed in the program, with links to the original publication made available to the ER audience.

Please see the Call for Papers page (https://er2025.ensma.fr/call4papers) for a detailed description of the relevant topics for ER.
