Call for Doctoral Consortium
The ER 2025 Doctoral Consortium provides PhD students in the early stages of their research—who have defined a problem in conceptual modeling and may have preliminary results—the opportunity to present their work, engage in discussions, and receive valuable feedback from experienced researchers and experts in the field.
For each accepted paper, we will assign one or two mentors who will be available for an in-depth discussion session with the PhD student during the Doctoral Consortium. All mentors are members of the ER Steering Committee, or senior researchers in conceptual modeling or past ER Doctoral Consortium chairs.
The papers must be authored by the PhD student as a single-author and should not exceed 10 pages (including all: content, references, appendices) in the single-column CEUR WS format (LaTeX Template, Word Template). Short papers of at least 5 pages of length are also possible while we encourage papers closer to the maximal length of 10 pages.
A paper submitted to the ER 2025 Doctoral Consortium may not be under review for any other conference or journal during the time it is being considered for ER 2025. Submissions should be made via EasyChair at https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=er2025 by selecting the ‘Doctoral Symposium’ track.
Submissions will be selected based on originality, significance, technical merit, presentation quality, and relevance. Accepted papers will be submitted for open publication via CEUR-WS.org.
The authors of accepted papers must attend the Consortium and present their work, will benefit from a discounted conference registration rate.
