Call for Project Exhibitions

ER’2025 features a track entirely devoted to presenting future or ongoing research projects related to the field of conceptual modeling.

This track offers a great opportunity for presenters to disseminate the intermediate results of their projects, to get feedback before submitting a project proposal. To participants, it offers a moment to get an updated view of innovative ongoing research, as well as networking with potential research partners.

Important Dates

  • Deadline for submissions: August 1, 2025
  • Notification to authors: September 12, 2025
  • Camera-ready submission: September 25, 2025
  • Author registration deadline: September 25, 2025
All deadlines are at 23:59 in the Anywhere on Earth timezone.

Eligible Projects

A project is eligible for this track if:

  • It tackles relevant conceptual modelling challenges or uses conceptual modelling techniques
  • It is a research or an innovation project
  • It is ongoing, scheduled to start, or still in planning
  • It intends to address, in a delimited period and by a team, or a consortium of teams, a challenge posed by an organization or a funding entity

Submission Guidelines

Submissions to this track should:

  • Describe a single project
  • Provide descriptive information about the project (e.g. name, duration, participants, partners, funding agency, website)
  • It is ongoing, scheduled to start, or still in planning
  • It intends to address, in a delimited period and by a team, or a consortium of teams, a challenge posed by an organization or a funding entity

Papers should be at most 8 pages long (excluding references) and comply with the CEUR-ART 1-column style.

Papers should be submitted in PDF format through EasyChair by selecting the “Project Exhibitions” track.

Publication

Accepted papers may be published within the second proceedings volume of the conference, alongside workshop and forum papers.

This proceedings volume will be published by CEUR-WS.org.

Review Process

We will follow a single-blind review process with a program committee composed of international researchers with expertise in the field.

Each submission will be reviewed by at least two members of a dedicated program committee on the relevance of the project for the conceptual modeling community. If necessary, a third member will also review the submission.

This proceedings volume will be published by CEUR-WS.org.

For each accepted submission, the authors will be invited to register for the conference to present their project at a dedicated session at ER 2025.

Attendance and presentation

During the Project Exhibitions session, the authors of accepted contributions will present the research project. Details about the format of the session and instructions to prepare the presentation will be given to authors after the acceptance notification.
